Hobart banged out 13 hits and took advantage of four Hebron errors in a 12-0, six-inning victory Saturday. Halie Kinkade registered two of the Hawks’ four hits.

Friel, Cunningham power Hawks

Brooke Cunningham smacked a two-run home run and tossed a three-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts to power Hebron to a 6-0 victory at Winamac on Thursday. Molly Friel went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBI. Meadow Fornuto notched two hits and Halie Kinkade doubled in a run.

Hebron hammers Hammond Academy

The Hawks (1-2) banged out 18 hits, including six doubles, and received a combined perfect game from Brooke Cunningham and Molly Friel in a 21-0, five-inning rout of visiting Hammond Academy on Tuesday. Brooke Cunningham struck out 11 but lost a pitching duel with Jenna O’Brien when Illiana Christian scored a run in the bottom of the ninth for a 2-1 victory Monday.
