Santa visits Hebron wrestlers!

Amid his hectic travel schedule this week, Santa Claus was able to squeeze in a stop at Hebron wrestling practice Wednesday. Once again, Hawks coach Todd Adamczyk had the poor fortune of not getting to see St. Nick. “He seems to show up every year just before Christmas,” Adamczyk said. “I always seem to miss him.

Hebron can’t find the basket; falls to Boone

Carsyn Ryan notched 10 points but didn’t get much offensive help as Hebron fell  41-25 to Boone Grove (4-2, 2-1) in a Porter County Conference game Tuesday. The Hawks (2-5, 1-2) shot just 8-of-29 from the field, 1-of-8 from the arc and 6-of-17 from the foul line.

Hawks sixth at CP tournament

Pat Adamczyk and Trevor Hoffman were runners-up and Matt Adamczyk took third for Hebron, which took sixth among 14 teams in Saturday’s Carnahan tournament at Crown Point. Dom Csomos (fifth), Ian Gonzalez (sixth), Jacob Poradzisz (sixth) and Keaton Loudermilk (sixth) also placed. Hoffman  garnered the team belt for quickest pin.
