Hebron Hawks Varsity Grabs Lead In Fifth Inning For Victory Over South Central to win the PCC tournament championship.
Hebron Hawks Varsity took the lead late in the game in a 7-4 victory over South Central on Tuesday. The game was tied at three with Hebron Hawks Varsity batting in the bottom of the fifth when Hunter Ryan homered off of Intagliah, driving in two runs.
Hebron Hawks Varsity earned the victory despite allowing South Central to score three runs in the first inning. South Central’s big inning was driven by a walk by Klmenz.
South Central took an early lead in the first inning. Klmenz drove in a run when he walked with the bases loaded.
Chad Patrick earned the win for Hebron Hawks Varsity. He pitched seven innings, giving up four runs, four hits, and striking out 11. Smoker took the loss for South Central. He threw two-thirds of an inning, surrendering zero runs, zero hits, and walking one.
Intagliah started the game for South Central. He pitched five and a third innings, giving up seven runs, six hits, and striking out three.
Hebron Hawks Varsity had six hits in the game. Hunter Ryan and Travis Patrick each collected multiple hits for Hebron Hawks Varsity. Travis Patrick and Hunter Ryan each managed two hits to lead Hebron Hawks Varsity.
Crawford led South Central with two hits in four at bats.
